Good Nature : Pure Herbal Infusion

Client: Alkaloid

Year: 2006

Scope: Brand Strategy, Logo, Brand Identity, Brand Architecture, Package Design

Challenge

When Alkaloid, the largest pharmaceutical company in Macedonia, approached Zip Zap in 2006, it presented us with a complex challenge. The Botanicals Department of the company wanted to enter the global organic products market with its brand of teas Good Nature. The old brand identity presented a real difficulty. In order to face a challenging future, Good Nature needed a clear and meaningful brand culture. But, first a clear rationalization was needed to win over the hearts and minds of the people within the company.

Approach

Total rebranding with new striking identity, strong brand architecture and clear visual and verbal product identification. Apart from developing and producing a package concept and design for the new set of 9 organic products, Zip Zap designed completely new and rebranded packages for more than 30 existing products. Applying the strong brand principles, products were divided in categories with clear visual and verbal distinctions.

Results

Zip Zap helped the pharmaceutical giant to articulate a vision for its future. Within the first months after the rebranded products entered the local market, sales tripled. And in 2010 The Good Nature Organic Tea Collection was chosen as one of the 6 Best Products to be presented at the world’s largest natural and organic products tradeshow – the Natural Products Expo West 2010. The brand continues to prosper. It has successfully entered the global market, while boldly extending the product palette to the natural food sector.
