Challenge
Rebrand the biggest Macedonian life magazine
We took a deep dive into the way local magazines were created and the way they were accepted by the public. We met journalists, readers and ad agencies, and mapped out the local competitive set. Based on these insights we developed the brand idea “F stands for Forum”. The ambition was to use the letter F as a basic communication symbol in the magazine’s identity. The extensive use of the basic symbol throughout the layout helped create a consistent verbal identity. We worked with the Forum editors to reshape all the section names according to the concept. Faksimil, Fazla, Faca, Finale, Fabrika za idei, Forshpan, Foaje, Feshta, Fanfari, Futura, Fetish, Feferonki, Femme fatale, Fajront… are some of them.
Results
The identity system captured the immediate attention, hearts and minds of readers and magazine lovers.
